Beagle Buceos is a dive school founded in 2017, based at Pasarela Luis Pedro Fique 305 in Ushuaia, operating from the AFASYN club dock (Asociación Fueguina de Actividades Subacuáticas y Náuticas). It holds a Prefectura Naval Argentina license (PNA N°66) and is federally affiliated with FAAS and CMAS, as well as being an international SSI school. Director Augusto De Camillis is a nationally and internationally certified instructor.
Courses run from Open Water to Divemaster, with specialties in buoyancy, dry suit, rescue, and underwater navigation. Dive outings take place in the Beagle Channel, one of the southernmost dive sites in the world, with water temperatures ranging from 5°C to 12°C (41°F to 54°F). The school operates with small groups and adapts its training pace to each diver’s needs, with DAN insurance available.
