1. Who we are

DiveArgentina (diveargentina.com and comunidad.diveargentina.com) is an information and community platform for divers in Argentina, operated from Argentina.

2. By using the site, you accept these terms

By browsing the site or registering in the community you accept these Terms. If you disagree, please don't use the service. The service is not available to users under 13 years old.

3. What DiveArgentina provides

DiveArgentina provides:

• Editorial information about dive destinations, gear and dive shops in Argentina.
• A community forum (Discourse) where users publish their own content.
• An optional monthly newsletter with diving updates.

We are not a travel agency, dive operator or underwater emergency service provider. Site information is for reference only — always verify current conditions with providers before a dive.

4. Community account

To participate in the forum you need to register with a valid email and a username.

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One account per person.
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice in serious cases.

5. Community rules

The forum is a space for divers. We ask for:

• Respect among users — no insults, harassment or discrimination.
• Content related to diving, marine life and related activities.
• No spam, unsolicited advertising or malicious links.
• No illegal, defamatory or rights-infringing content.
• Don't share other people's personal data without their consent.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit or remove any content that violates these rules.

6. User-generated content

When you post on the forum you retain ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, store and distribute it within the platform. We don't use your content outside the site without your authorisation.

The site's editorial content (articles, destination pages, gear guides) is the property of DiveArgentina and may not be reproduced without authorisation.

7. Limitation of liability

DiveArgentina provides reference information. We don't guarantee it is complete, current or error-free. Diving is an activity with inherent risks — underwater safety decisions are the diver's responsibility. We are not liable for accidents, losses or damages arising from the use of information published on the site.

We are also not responsible for content posted by users on the forum.

8. Newsletter

The newsletter is free and optional. By subscribing you agree to receive emails from DiveArgentina. You can unsubscribe at any time by writing to [email protected]. We'll be adding a direct unsubscribe link in each email soon.

9. Changes to the service

We may modify, pause or discontinue any part of the service. For significant changes we'll give reasonable advance notice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Argentine Republic.
